♬| Reasons why you should watch the movie FROZEN

Ever since the movie Frozen came out in the November of last year, I have heard many of my classmates tell me how great of a movie it is. And so recently I watched it, half a year later, and I fell in love with it. It is a movie about a fearless girl by the name of Anna, who teams up with Kristoff on a quest in an extremely snowy situation with a hilarious snowman named Olaf-- a quest to find Anna's sister Elsa who is the one whose ice/snow powers have caused winter to come over the kingdom. It is a great movie with a great theme and in this post I'm going to give a list of why I like this movie.

1. Adorable Olaf and his hilarious antics
"In Summer," which is a song he sang fantasizing about how much fun he would have in warm weather, dancing in the sun.
"Bees-a-buzz, kids that blow dandelion fuzzAnd I'll be doing whatever snow does in summer.
Olaf is obviously oblivious to the fact that he would melt in summer, because of this, this song is witty. Olaf represents a character who is so adventurous, yet doesn't know anything about this world, that it is almost a fault.  Because he was built by Anna and Elsa when they were still small, he represents pure childish innocence.
"Oh, and I don't know why, but I've always loved the idea of summer, and sun, and all things hot.. -Olaf

2. The witty, catchy songs
The songs in this movie are witty, well sung, and extremely unpredictable. The songs have the power to both bring a goofy smile to your face and to make you sad. In addition to the surprising "In Summer," songs include: "Life is too short," "You're you," and "Do you want to build a snowman?"

3. Siblings= love

Anyone who has an older sibling or very close, older friend has probably had this happen to them: one day, without you understanding why, the older friend stops wanting to play with you anymore. Frozen is a story about an older sister who grows older starts to purposely avoid her younger sister at all costs. But Frozen takes it even farther. In the end, the story ends with the ice-curse being broken by Anna sacrificing her own life to save her older sister. Frozen is not mainly about the normal kind of love present in most Disney stories BUT, about love between two sisters.

4. The theme of being true to who you are
The snow and ice are beautiful, but they all remind us of Elsa's despair... her shame and fear of her powers with ice. But she does not always remain in despair, in "Let It Go", she accepts her powers... shakes her hair out and turns her dress into an ice dress.
"It's time to see what I can do
To test the limits and break through
No right, no wrong, no rules for me,
I'm free!
In whatever way you analyse this movie, it is a story about growing up into a person who is not ashamed of their-self but true to who they are. Yes, most movies aimed at kids have this theme, but I would say Frozen does it the best.

5. It is hilarious, comical, amazing
The snowman, Olaf, as I have probably said before, adds a comical side to the story. He never fails to make me laugh by his hilarious comments. Anna also makes me laugh because of her awkwardness and how she relates to me in the awkwardness part; it provides us with plenty of funny situations. In this movie, there's always something that can make the viewer laugh.

6. The movie is visually beautiful!

It made me fall completely in love with snow because of how beautifully done the animations are.

7. There are 2 princesses and... Girlpower!
Frozen is very popular with girls, especially younger aged girls. Girls do love princesses, Frozen has TWO princesses instead of the normal one. Plus, the two princesses are totally opposites-- one is a romantic extrovert while the other is a gloomy introvert. Frozen also has very strong female characters and a twist to the "Prince Charming" plot... Prince Hans turns out to be an idiot, gold-digging villain.
